I'm a Stirk House wedding photographer and I love it! Set in the Ribble Valley with sweeping views to Pendle Hill and an abundance of history Stirk House has everything a wedding venue could ask for. It has a quality all of its own. From the ivy clad walls to the stunning fireplace and contemporary ceremony and reception rooms to the stunning outside space it really is a wedding photographer's dream.

The wedding planning team take care of every little detail and the current Master of Ceremonies Dave makes sure the day runs smoothly, with genuine warmth and good humour he puts everyone at ease. People like this make a wedding photographers day too, nothing is too much trouble and if we need a hand or loud voice to people together for photos then Dave is most definitely your man!

Portrait Opportunities At Every Turn

The outside space at Stirk House has so much to offer when it comes to couples portraits. Winding paths take you down to the woodlands for the romantic shots, while the front of the house is such a stunning backdrop for group photos and creative portraits alike. I like to give my couples one or two "wow" shots in their gallery if at all possible and the porch and beautiful tree all prettied up with fairy lights in the evening certainly help in this respect.
