Quite simply because it's stunning. Set in 370 acres of wild Cumbrian landscape and approached by a winding private driveway, Fairbank Wedding Barn is everything and anything you want it to be. The ceremony barn is clean, whitewashed walls, oak beams and filled with natural light - a wedding photographer's dream. The Main Barn is rustic, warm and a totally blank canvas for you to put your own stamp on, meaning that no two weddings will be the same. The Main House provides self catering accommodation for up to ten guests. There's even an awesomely pretty tarn on the land a short, if not bumpy drive away. The photo opportunities are endless at the tarn with stunning views across typical lakeland landscape and even the odd cow, sheep and (if you're lucky) wild deer to see.

It's so relaxed it's almost horizontal which is why it suits my style of wedding photography to a tee. The owners and staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble - they'll even take you and your wedding photographer up to the tarn for your portraits, wait while you get those all important romantic shots and then bring you back!
