Born in West Lancashire, raised in Liverpool I moved to East Lancashire when I got married and I now live within easy reach of some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the northwest of England.
I have three grown up children and two beautiful grandchildren. I love a really hot chilli and a really cold, well made G&T
My passion for photography started years ago when my parents gave me a camera before I went to New Zealand to visit relatives.
Originally my subject was the landscape around me but over time I realised that I enjoyed photographing people in outdoor settings using beautiful natural light.
As a Lancashire wedding photographer I shoot unobtrusive fun wedding photography.
I have a laid back, relaxed personality and a totally professional attitude in providing the best service I possibly can for my couples.I'm totally self taught, but having studied art, I naturally have a good eye for a great picture. After taking hundreds of photographs of my grandson and friends who asked me for family portrait shoots I graduated into the wedding industry by way of a friend's recommendation. With encouragement from family that I could "do this" I agreed to shoot my first wedding.

From the first meeting with Jane we knew we'd chosen the best person to take the photos on our special day. Jane made sure that we were involved in what photos were being taken, set up Pinterest boards for ideas and made us feel at ease. On the day itself, Jane made sure everyone was involved, which was a hard job since no one liked their picture taken. She made sure that natural photos were taken as well all the ones we requested. We couldn't of asked for a better photographer. Despite the weather the photos are stunning, Jane has done an amazing job with them. Would not think twice about recommending Jane to anyone.

Jane is the best wedding decision we have made. She is talented, personable, and knows her craft! Our engagement shoot photos are everything we could have hoped for and more. As for our wedding day photos…we have only received our previews to date, and just that sneak preview had me in happy tears. She brings the photos to life with the shots she captures. Choosing Jane was a no-brainer. Have you seen her work? She is just so versatile! She listens, she doesn’t come to you with her own agenda of what she wants to shoot, she shoots the day YOU dreamt of. Jane directed the shots we needed help on, but most of the time, in the nicest possible way, we didn’t know she was there. Nothing was staged, it was natural photography from start to finish and as a result she captured all the magic from the day perfectly. Jane is worth every single penny, and she goes above and beyond to make your day as special as you hoped it would be.

Despite the rainy weather the photos turned out beautiful 🤩 we loved the pre wedding shoot we had with Jane, it was an amazing idea and we used the pictures to decorate our venue. Jane has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process of finding and booking our wedding photographer.
She was very easy to contact, responded to all our questions so quickly, super transparent about her prices and package inclusions, and gave us a peak at her previous works which are incredible.
Jane is so friendly, up beat and approachable. She made us feel so at ease during our pre wedding shoot, and on our wedding day! It was like having an old friend with us.
Her photography skills are fantastic. She captured all the special moments during our day, and more. Her photos are natural and documentary style, with as many posed shots as you choose to have. The imagery is brilliant! The colours are so vivid and vibrant, and the images so clear and sharp. She has some brilliant ideas on how to get some unique shots too.
Jane went above and beyond for us, she worked so hard during our day. Most of the time we weren’t even aware she was there, snapping away and making sure to pap all those important and special moments!
She braved all weather conditions (Lake District style !!) to ensure we had unforgettable moments and photos, nothing was too much trouble.
She didn’t miss a trick, we have photos from getting ready, to all the decorative details! So many photos of our guests arriving at the venue and as the day progressed. There are so many wonderful photos of Sam and I, it’s impossible to pick a favourite! Every moment has been captured so beautifully.
We will treasure our wedding photos forever, and we so, so thankful we found Jane to capture our day.
She went above and beyond in every way for us, any ideas we had were taken on board and executed perfectly, she gave us lots of inspo of her own too, she really was an extended member of our wedding party, we had such a great time together full of laughter!

Delighted!!! We are so so happy that we chose Jane to be our wedding photographer! We have a huge amount of beautiful, natural photographs of us and our guests having a wonderful time. We also have some really special portraits in spots that Jane picked out on the day (which we love!). From start to finish Jane was perfect, we loved the pre-wedding shoot that was included in our package, it was great to meet and get to know each other before the big day, and we’re delighted with the photos that we have from that too. Jane was the photographer at our wedding. It was the hottest day of the year and she came prepared for the heat.
Our guests enjoyed being photographed (and were a fussy bunch to please). We didn’t feel she was taking too much time away from guests, she made the photographs fun and casual.
We particularly like the non posed ones as these are just lovely and natural.
I don’t usually like photos like of myself but Jane captured me and I have never looked better.
Ours was a casual family wedding and Jane captured exactly what we were looking for.
The sneak peak was fantastic but the full photos are amazing.
