A WORD (OR TWO) ABOUT CONFETTI
Flutter Darlings
For THE best confetti photos you need lots of big bold beautifully coloured confetti. I recommend buying much more than you think you'll need - one little cone per guest is simply not enough - specially on windy days. Click the link above to see some of the best confetti on the market today. The big discs/hearts are designed to fall slowly so you get photos like these!
and when your venue says "no" to confetti
THERE'S ALWAYS BUBBLES!
Sometimes a venue will have a "no confetti" rule (I know, it's beyond me too!!)
and if you've had your heart set on your photographer capturing some gorgeous colourful images as you leave your ceremony I'm guessing you'll feel pretty gutted if that has been snatched away from you.
However, all is not lost!
Enter the kids bubble gun! Never EVER bother with those piddly little tubes, they go nowhere. Instead, arm your guests with a few bubble guns and you'll be well away ..... stick the proverbial up at the venue owner and have a (bubble) blast.
Bubbles also look stunning at night if your photographer is handy using flash photography as in the next slide.

If your photographer is like me and likes to get creative with flash photography then you can get some really cool additions to your photo gallery with very little effort and time. After the sun has set is the best time to capture some fun and colourful moments with just you guys (plus a couple of guests to bubble blast you) and those trusty guns.
These clients of mine we so up for getting a bit silly but we even got some gorgeous romantic shots too!
